War in Ukraine

A YEAR ON - Putin's war in Ukraine. "In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God." (Psalm 10:4) On the 24th of February 2023, Ukraine was commemorating, not celebrating a year of tears and brutality from Russian aggression on the nation of Ukraine. God takes note of their grief. This was a country that was living peacefully by Russia. Their neighbor. God frowns upon such an abominable act. Today I was reminded of God's justice in Psalm 10. "You,Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror." (Psalm 10:17-18) Putin, a mere earthly mortal thought he could strike terror into people's hearts and easily take Kyiv within days as well as their PM Vladimir Zelenskyy, (who wants democracy), out. Putin prides himself in his big war machine and nuclear weapons. In fact, he is so arrogant, in his address to his Russian nation, that he said they could not be beaten on the battlefield. What arrogance. Or is it delusion? But God will humble Mr. Putin. He will be turned back again and this time for good. God is a healing God not a God of destruction. Putin also underestimated the courage of Ukrainian PM Zelenskyy and the Ukrainian people who are resolutely and unreservedly resolved not to surrender their sovereignty as a nation to Russian control. They are shining examples to the West of lion-like courage in the face of evil. He also underestimated the support of the West to supply arms to Ukraine. I see God at work in Ukraine in their faith in God and courageous resilience to Putin's war. Why should they surrender? They are true war heroes. Zelenskyy has emerged as warrior PM, and God's spirit is at work here. It is like David versus Goliath. They don't want a fascist, barbaric, tyrannical dictator leading and controlling them, who only cares about winning so that he does not lose face. It is an ego problem, as the foreign minister for the UK pointed out at the UN gathering. James Cleverley says, Putin 'must not be allowed to win!' Agreed. Our freedom is at stake. Proud men want all about them to submit to their dominion. They are dictators and all of them that do not yield to their dictates, they malign and hate with an inveterate (unlikely to change) hatred. I am in total agreement with the war ending and Putin being stopped and praying the war in Ukraine ends this year. Russian control is as bad as Nazi control. This evil tyranny must be stopped. I believe it will. Putin must respect international borders and boundaries. Russian forces have taken control of Mariupol and the Donbas. No different from highway robbers. It is an extension of his illegal annex of Crimea in 2014. The construction of Russian buildings is currently taking place in the city of Mariupol and replacing Ukrainian buildings. It is outrageous! The man is bent on destruction and land grabbing. Stealing land that does not belong to him. Consequently, he must be stopped. It must be by divine intervention. God is not far off. He sees. Meanwhile, Putin is betting on the West to falter in their resolve and to tire of supplying arms to Ukraine. It is psychological warfare. Hence, Vladimir Putin has much blood on his hands, no matter what reasons he uses to justify this war on Ukraine. In conclusion, fear and violence is never the answer. Murder is a sin. For example, Putin claims he is liquidating the threat of neo-Nazis in Ukraine. That is not true. He wants to make sure NATO bases are not on his doorstep. He accuses the West of seeking dominance and power. No, this is Putin's goal. He wants to wipe Ukraine out and off the map and put his Russian imperial stamp on it. Russian imperialism. So far PM Zelenskyy still stands. Ukraine still stands and the West has become more united against this barbarous invasion of Ukraine. They still stand. Meanwhile, Putin is plotting a spring offensive. The West has given Ukraine their unwavering support, especially UK and US. So, my closing thoughts are that God does and will resist the proud. Praying the demonic forces involved in this barbaric invasion will be pushed back and the arm of the wicked will be broken and Putin will be held to account. Dear Lord, I pray with the Psalmist: "Break the arm of the wicked man; call the evildoer to account for his wickedness that would not otherwise be found out." (Psalm 10:15). Amen! Sharon

2024 The Year of the Open Door.

My Prophetic word for 2024.   The Year of the Open Door. I am seeking God about 2024 and I believe it is about going through the open door prophetically speaking and our mouths having that prophetic revelation from God that will be key to taking our promised land for God as we speak it.  Our decrees will be the game changer as we come up higher to God, ascend to the throne room of God, and receive fresh revelation, prophetic insight, and fresh encounters with a holy God.
