I have been musing on the death of our Queen. What is God saying prophetically? There has been a changing of the guard in our nation. A sudden shift. We now have a new earthly King; King Charles III in the UK. A divine inauguration. There will be a changing of the guard in your life too. The enemy will be overthrown once and for all. I wanted to share three things that I believe God is saying at this time and what I believe it all means for us at this time in history. I pray it brings comfort and hope and healing to you at this sad and uncertain time at the death of our Queen.
Firstly, it is a new season and on the Hebraic calendar it is a new year for us as God's people, as we approach Rosh Hashanah. This is known as the feast of trumpets, a two day celebration to usher in the Jewish New Year. They blow a shofar to call people to repentance. Could it be God is using the Queen's death as a type of shofar, a blowing of a trumpet? To awaken us from our spiritual slumber? God is blowing the trumpet and waking the nation up and the church. To pause and think about God. Where are you going? Are you going to repent and be righteous? Are you going God's way? The psalmist says, 'Be still and know that I am God.(Psalm 46). It is a time of healing. It is a holy convocation. This is a time to reflect on God. It is a time where God decides who will live and who will die. Thus, Rosh Hashanah is a day of judgement. God's decision is final. Our heavenly King is Jesus, who has the final say.
Secondly this Feast of Trumpets also alludes to the rapture, which is those saints who meet the Lord in the air. It is a gathering of the saints at the resurrection. It is also signifies redemption. Leading up to Rosh Hashanah there is 30 days of repentance. It is also believed that Rosh Hashanah signifies the day of resurrection. On the feast of Rosh Hashanah, known as the Feast of Trumpets, they blow three sounds on the shofar; that is one after the other. The first sound of the shofar is called 'Tekiah' meaning a 'blast.' It is an awakening sound, to awakens us from our slumber. The second sound is a broken sound known as 'Sh'varim' meaning broken. It is calling the broken-hearted. The broken sound signifies those who weep, again it alludes to repentance. The third sound blown on the shofar is known as 'T'ruah', meaning alarm. It is alerting us to get prepared. It is a quick staccato sound. It is all blown on the same day. Then there is a fourth and final, great blast, known as the 'Tekiah Hagadolah,' meaning the 'Great blast.' They blow this in a pattern. Thus, the last trumpet sound signifies the resurrection and the rapture or 'parousia,' that Paul talks about in the bible in 1 Thessalonians chapter 4. Paul was a Jewish believer in Christ and so he understood Jewish things. We read about this in Leviticus:
The Feast of Trumpets
23 Again the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 24 “Say to the children of Israel, ‘On the first day of the seventh month (almost October), you shall observe a day of solemn sabbatical rest, a memorial day announced by the blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation. 25 You shall not do any laborious work [on that day], but you shall present an offering by fire to the Lord.’”
(Leviticus 23:23-25, AMP).
And the parallel of the last trumpet.
For the Lord Himself will come down from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the archangel and with the [blast of the] trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain [on the earth] will simultaneously be caught up (raptured) together with them [the resurrected ones] in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord!
(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, AMP).
Therefore, these feasts have spiritual significance so we should pay attention as Christians and seek to understand them.
The dates of Rosh Hashanah this year are from 25th September 2022 to 27th September 2022. It is two day celebration. It is also recognised as the anniversary of the creation of Adam and Eve. Interestingly, it is also a day of judgment and coronation of God as king. An earthly king (Charles III) is also about to be coronated. It is a God thing. God's story will continue in the UK. God loves the UK and has a special destiny for the nation of Britain 🇬🇧 particularly and also personally. God's justice gavel is going to swing against those who attack God's people within it. Good overcomes evil. It is a time for repentance. God is going to promote you and give you a platform so that your voice can be heard. Your voice will sound like the blowing of the shofar. It will be loud and clear sounding the oracles of God. A prophetic voice. A prophetic life. Calling people to repentance.
Thirdly, it is also worth noting that the double rainbow that appeared over London after the Queens death, is also a sign from God, reminding us he is a covenant keeping God. It reminds us of Noah and the flood where God destroyed the wicked but saved eight righteous including Noah. God's not finished with UK or the Royal family. He has a purpose in it. The rainbow is a sign of God's protection and God's covenant with man. Christ is the ark we must enter. The Queen has entered for sure. I believe even the angels saluted the King's daughter, Queen Elizabeth II as she entered into glory. She was a real trooper for Jesus. A warrior Queen. Trail blazing the path of excellence for us all. Keep your eyes on the road and never lose hope. God is keeping his promise of redemption and salvation to Queen Elizabeth II, and her family and to his people in the UK. He is a redemptive God who took her home. It was her time. There will be a continuity of this gold thread of Christian faith and it's values in the UK. We are a lion nation. God has a purpose for this lion nation. Salvation is with Jesus alone. The lion is sleeping but is being awakened. Consequently the sign of the rainbow is a sign of God's mercy and faithfulness and is also seen 'around the the throne' and is a symbol of hope (Revelation 4:3).
Furthermore, Jesus is a Hebrew name for our God Yahweh. He is also the God of Israel. He is the God of Jews and Gentiles alike in the New Covenant, that he signed and sealed with his own blood on the cross. The God who saves. No matter what evil we see around us, with God's help we can conquer it. The Queen stayed focused on what matters, that is her God, in order to filfill her divine destiny. I find her example truly inspiring. She was born and died for such a time as this. Now her son King Charles III continues her legacy. Our Queen commands such respect around the world, even in her death. This is because of her kindness and loyalty to God and to her people and the country. She carried the royal love of God in her heart. She was also faithful to her vow before God to the divine call as Queen. Even Vladimir Putin paid his respects to her recently. Putin was the first international leader to even congratulate our new King. She was truly a shining example of loving kindness in these last, dark days. Because of her influence she commands the respect of even tyrants. What an amazing example she was to us all. I find it quite amusing too. God's goodness and kindness converts the worst sinners to God. Ask Paul the apostle who regarded himself as the worst of sinners, who was saved by God's amazing grace. God's underserved favour. The Queen was faithful to the end and upheld God's righteousness on her throne, in the face of opposition, which is so important for a nation to prosper. The book of Proverbs tells us:
It is repulsive [to God and man] for kings to behave wickedly, For a throne is established on righteousness (right standing with God). (Proverbs 16:12, AMP).
The late Queen had right standing with God and is now departed to be with her true King, that is King Jesus in whom she believed. Her 70 year reign is a hard act for anyone to follow, but she did it with God's help. She also followed shortly after her beloved Prince Phillip who was the Duke of Edinburgh, as he also departed from this earth in April 2021. She is now in heaven, a true princess with her prince as the queen's dead body is now on it's way from Balmoral to London for the final committal.
In closing, I give HRH Queen Elizabeth II a royal salute. She is alive in heaven. Thank you Ma'am for your steadfastness and loyalty to the crown and to our heavenly King Jesus. Hope to meet you on the other side. She was a defender of the faith. Truly, our Queen Elizabeth II was a noble, loyal, kind and courageous, strong woman. Well done. Your reward is in heaven with King Jesus. 🤴🏼 We love you. ❤️
