War in Ukraine
A YEAR ON - Putin's war in Ukraine. "In his pride the wicked man does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God." (Psalm 10:4) On the 24th of February 2023, Ukraine was commemorating, not celebrating a year of tears and brutality from Russian aggression on the nation of Ukraine. God takes note of their grief. This was a country that was living peacefully by Russia. Their neighbor. God frowns upon such an abominable act. Today I was reminded of God's justice in Psalm 10. "You,Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror." (Psalm 10:17-18) Putin, a mere earthly mortal thought he could strike terror into people's hearts and easily take Kyiv within days as well as their PM Vladimir Zelenskyy, (who wants democracy), out.
