Exposing Corruption in 2023



2023. GOD EXPOSING CORRUPTION. 

"But her commercial gain and her prostitute’s wages will be dedicated to the Lord; it will not be treasured or stored up, but her commercial gain will become sufficient food and stately clothing for those who dwell (minister) in the presence of the Lord." (Isaiah 23:18). 

After watching Sky news I have come up with a great God idea. Let all the rich business folk who are donating £millions to MP's meaningless causes (like 'Stop Oil') send the money to people like myself so I can build God's kingdom. Establish a proper healing room and school for the Lord. Let their prostitute wages be given to God's causes and to God's true Ministers today. 

The prophet Isaiah calls this commercial gain 'prostitute wages.' They (Tyre) were a whoring city. Worship of false Gods (Baal worship). False religion. Devil's religion. God says that the Lord will remember Tyre, (a Phonecian city) who will return to her prostitute’s wages after 70 years of desolation and that her worldly, commercial business gains will now honour God's ministers who dwell in the presence of the Lord. Thus, God intervened. God can bring everything to a full stop for his glory. Let it be Lord.  

God also warned through the Prophet Isaiah about the coming destruction upon the commercial seaport of Tyre; the city that was eventually destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar in 572 BC and lay desolate for 70 years. God would then show mercy to Tyre, who was regarded as a forgotten prostitute. I love God's passionate language. God wants our worship. The devil seeks to distract people from God with worldly wealth. God brought an abrupt end to this whoring. It was time to turn his people back to God. Our only salvation. Eventually Christianity prevailed in Tyre because Jesus visited there (see Matthew 15:21) and Paul the apostle (see Acts 21: 3-5). God brings about true change for the better. In fact he changes our course all together. Stop and focus on God and pray. Get a different perspective. God's perspective. God is in control. He can turn things around in your life. He can stop the enemy's destruction. It is interesting to note that when the church of God was eventually founded in the city of Tyre, much of the wealth was consecrated to God and presented for the support of the ministers. A good, godly cause. Genuine ministers of God that is who have integrity. Donations definitely should not be going to the 'Stop Oil' activists that do criminal damage and create havoc on motorways, causing danger to life. They need to be stopped. I pray the money does stop going to them. It is immoral what they do. So, if the rich are desperate to donate, then give it to God's worthy causes and ministries to prosper that city under God. 

God is worthy to be praised. We need to be still in his presence and spend time to worship God in this busy jostling world we live in. All it cares about is money. Bible term is 'mammon.' The Greek meaning is material wealth - property, money, wealth. Well money cannot save your soul. You cannot buy true peace or true love or joy with money. These rare commodities are only found in Christ. God sees what is going on. He then acts accordingly. Sometimes swiftly. I believe we are going to see God’s swift acts in 2023. If he can bring destruction on the city of Tyre (through proud Nebuchadnezzar) with all it's beauty and pomp and magistrates and rich businessmen, then God can also trample down their pride who trust in their wealth and riches (especially at No10, the seat of government). The city of Tyre was tempting its neighbours with their wealth but never considered God. Tyre is a picture of how the world is today. 
You cannot serve God and money. It is God first, then all these things will be added to you.
Take time out to be with God as the Psalmist says.   

"Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” (Psalm 46:10, ESV)

The Hebrew meaning of the word 'still' is "surrender". Therefore, "Be still and know,'
could be rendered as 'surrender, in order that you may know.' (Inspired to Faith).
Let go and let God heal and mend you and give you his strength. It also infers that he may reveal himself to you more deeply so that you may fully experience Him in this life. Know Him! He wants take you deeper.
