Order for Recovery
Today, on my way to the dentist I saw a sign with the words 'order recovery' in it. I am praying for a dental miracle. As well as a relationship miracle. I thought of King David recovering all from Ziklag when he had lost everything to the Amalekites, Israel's enemies. It is believed the Amalekites were descendants of Esau. The Amelekite spirit was arrogant like King Saul who failed to kill them. Unlike David whose heart was devoted to God. This evil spirit is sneaky manipulative and deceiving just like the enemy that carried off David's family. The Amalekite spirit has no respect for authority and will kill the king if it has a chance. David inquires of the Lord what to do in this crisis. The Lord answered: 'Pursue them.'
"And David inquired of the Lord, saying, Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them? The Lord answered him, Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all."
(1 Samuel 30:8, AMPC)
God's instruction was to pursue and don't let them get away with it. Sometimes we should ask the Lord, do I pursue? You are not to let the enemy get away with it. David strengthened himself in the Lord while everyone else was bitter about the situation and ready to stone him. David took courage from God and now he had the word from God, the green light, to go into the enemy's camp and take back what the devil stole. His courage strengthened his men. He had confidence in God that he would recover all and would be successful in this rescue as God would go with him. Therefore, David went with God's NoDR, Order for Recovery from Heaven to the Amalekites. He took it all back as God said he would, who gave him courage and success. God will back up his own word as we obey the instruction. Especially when we find ourselves with our backs up against the wall. His power will come through and manifest and our breakthrough will come. That impossible situation will turn around. God is our confidence.
Is the enemy holding things he has stolen from you? Or has he captured some of your family members? Pursue and recover all, that is what God is saying now. It is a new, now word. There is an order for Recovery dispatched from heaven on your behalf. Pursue and recover all. God says he is with you. You will recover all. You will be able to succeed.
Lord help me to pursue and recover all that the devil has stolen. Give me the strength to pursue.
As I pondered that word walking into the dentist, I suddenly remembered something astounding that I had not fully realised before. In my Customer Services job, I advise people what to do when they receive an 'Order for Recovery' - letter for unpaid penalty charges. It is known as NoDR - Notice of Debt Recovery. That means the debt has been registered at the court. I suddenly realised what this means prophetically, for me personally and anyone else who wants this word from God. There has been an 'Order for Recovery' sent from heaven's Court for the devil to restore all that was stolen and he must pay back 7 times. The heavenly Court has sent out a warrant of enforcement (enforcement of angels as in Psalm 91) and that the devil is ordered to pay up and give up your loved ones and all the blessings that belong to you, that he has tried to sabotage. Particularly over the last 7 years - such as marriage blessings, house, finances, and health even. He has robbed your Peace and Joy. It is payback time. The judge of heaven, Jesus has ordered it. His time is up. The devil is served with a NoDR from heaven. I think God was waiting for David to seek him. He, the enemy is not getting away with it. Don't let him get away with it. Get up and get your holy fight back. David did not let one of the Amalekites escape. Similarly, divine enforcement (angel armies) will be dispatched. It will be necessary as the devil doesn't give up that easily. This rescue mission will be accomplished in other words. It is a divine order for Recovery!
You will recover all. Take heart, God will strengthen you and assist you in your divine mission to recover all. He will send divine enforcement angels to assist you in this rescue mission. You will succeed like King David, who was a man after God’s heart. In the book of Ephesians Paul also instructs us to 'be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power' (Ephesians 6:1, NIV)
So go in the power of his might. Take it all back in Jesus' name. You will not fail.
Serve notice on the devil.
